On November 6th, 2008 the German film audience will have the first chance to see M.A. Littler’s outstanding film The Folk Singer, a tale of men music and America. This fine film is headlining the “Stranger Than The Blues” film festival in Berlin’s Eiszeit Kino. Christoph Mueller will be exhibiting selected works publicly for the first time in Germany as well during the event. To top it all off the honourable Reverend Deadeye will perform after the premiere as part of his very first Euopean tour. Please consult the Eiszeit Kino for further details.

Here is a logo design Mueller has recently done for the Seattle based band Brent Amaker and the Rodeo. It is featured on their latest CD which will be released by the fine folks at Gravewax Records on November 18th.

After being in the works for about a whole year the long awaited Mueller Cigar Box Guitars are finally here! These fully functional instruments are painstakingly painted on by hand and masterfully assembled by the Daddy Mojo crew in Montreal, Canada. Each one is a one of a kind piece of art. Due to popular demand two of these Mueller guitars were pre-sold before they were even finished by Christoph Mueller!

The only instrument of the series that still remains available for purchase is the “Repent” model pictured below. It can be obtained through Daddy Mojo.

The all new 2009 Rome SDS “Notch” series of snowboards features exclusive designs and lettering by Christoph Mueller. It is Rome’s signature powder board. More info by the kid in the clip below:

The fine folks of Daddy Mojo custom made stringed instruments have just finished a special six string black Mueller Cigar Box Guitar. The beautiful instrument features one of Mueller’s button pins on the headstock. However this is only the vanguard to the up-coming Mueller hand-painted line of CBGs. The painting job will be finished in a week and final assembly in Montreal can start. Two of these instruments have already been pre-sold, so, if you are interested in obtaining one of these one-of-a-kind instruments hurry over to Daddy Mojo!

Ohio based Metalfarm Magazine has just launched its first issue. Among stories on Hank III’s “Reinstate Hank” movement, Neltner Creative and The Kentucky Struts it features a drawing by Christoph Mueller done for the It Burns When I Pee podcast. It is available online and in selected record shops around the Promised Land.

Some more good news just in: We are happy to announce that Christoph Mueller will colaborate with Willem Maker on his up-coming CD. Mueller will provide the artwork for the album that will be released by Big Legal Mess Records (a division of Fat Possum Records) next year. Maker and Mueller met during this years Deep Blues Festival in Lake Elmo, MN. Late night hotel bar conversations made it clear that they shared a certain state of mind and the decision to have Mueller do the artwork was made.
