If good old blues-injected Rock ‘n’ Roll that will make you want to move is to your liking we would like to highly recommend a listen to outstanding Australian band My Dynamite. Their self-titled debut album is due for release in March on the French independant label Listenable Records. The perfect record for the summer of ‘12 you might say. Oh yeah, and a certain Christoph Mueller took care of all of its visuals, also.


The good folks of Venlo’s Queensday Festival recently asked Christoph Mueller to create this years poster for them. So, without further ado feast your eyes on what Mueller came up with!

Following last weeks opening of the Martin, Mueller, Malte, Mohren group exhibit, today will see the opening of the Life Is A Casino group show at MOHS exhibit in Copenhagen, Denmark. Mueller contributed four pieces and we would like to invite everyone to come and see the interesting mix of young talent for themselves!

Art enthusiasts will have the rare chance to observe Christoph Mueller’s carefully elaborated drawings up close November 25th through December 4th as part of the Martin, Mueller, Malte, Mohren group exhibit presented by the all new offspace C/O. All friends and eager minds are invited to join Christoph Mueller on November 25th at 7pm (19.00 hours, for those who fancy the 24-hour-clock) for the official opening ceremony!

We continue our daily posts in an attempt to catch up on what’s been keeping Christoph Mueller busy the past months with a web-site banner Mueller created a while back for the very fine folks at Daddy Mojo. Mueller utilized traditional draftsmanship, lettering and ornamentation—reviving passionately careful craftsmanship from times long gone, when quality and skill were favoured over what one might today call “bling” and “sexy”. A ray of past splendors shining in the vulgar days of the present.

A recent drawing of Tom Waits, the original artwork sold within an hour after completion. Such swiftness was indeed made possible by the marvels of the internet. Here’s something else Mueller kept busy with during the past months: A shirt design for early Rock ‘n’ Roll legend Wanda Jackson. This beaut is available from the folks at Muddy Roots.

There hasn’t been much news communicated through our olde blog here recently, but don’t let that fool you, Christoph Mueller has been very busy lately with all sorts of projects. One of which is the album art for Peter Murphy’s Carver Combo soon to be available from our trusted compadres at Gravewax Records.
